Tess Francke is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and cheering for all women. As Communications Strategist for Piper & Gold Public Relations, she combines her expertise in writing, design and media relations to help clients deliver clear messages to the communities they serve.
Tess loves working with organizations dedicated to equality and inclusion. She’s at her best when she’s part of a collaborative process designed to deliver inspiring communications, turning small ideas into sweeping, impactful outcomes.
She previously worked as director of integrated media for a publishing company, implementing social media strategy, planning events and editing publications. She holds a B.S. in journalism from Central Michigan University. (Fire up, Chips!)
Tess is all about amplifying voices. She goes to work each day committed to helping others communicate their accomplishments and their vision.
When she’s not in the P&G office, Tess can be found reading, teaching and taking group fitness classes or enjoying the beauty of Lake Huron with her family. Her profound love for the outdoors and for Michigan has led her to live in six of the Mitten’s great cities. While her native Detroit always has her heart, Tess now loves living in Lansing with her partner and their dog, Otis.
- Garnered an audience of more than 55,000 followers across social media platforms for the Faces and Voices of Cancer project.
- Pitched the beatification of Father Solanus Casey, resulting in a turnout of more than 100 international, national and local media personnel at the event. Credentialed and managed all media personnel for the beatification, the largest event to visit Detroit in 2017.
- Managed internationally syndicated live TV segments with media partners for America’s Thanksgiving Parade and the River Days festival in Detroit.
